When Tinubu is Done With This Country, Nigerians Will Be Begging to Return to Buhari’s Era - Sowore

OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News reports that an activist politician and founder of Sahara reporter media outlet, Omoyele Sowore, while lamenting on the current economy state of the country, has said that when president Tinubu is done with Nigerians, the citizens will begged for the return of the former president buhari's era.
OTN News further reports that the activist who made this statement in an interview with Vanguard alleged that the ruling class has already decided how the 2027 presidential election will turn out.
According to him, “whether it’s a campaign, a protest, a court battle—I’m always running for something.
“But if you’re asking about elections, I don’t believe in the current ballot system. The 2027 results are already written”.
“Only rebellion against the system, not the ballot, can change the country,” he said.
Speaking further, Sowore who spoke in reference to the country’s current situation, asserted, “Nigerians made a grave mistake voting Bola Tinubu into office”
He explained, “I said it before, and I’ll say it again: when Tinubu is done with this country, Nigerians will be begging to return to Buhari’s era.
“He has done irreparable damage—economically, socially, politically. He has crippled institutions, education, and democracy. Buhari killed Nigeria in eight years; Tinubu came, in two years he is burying it” he added.
The activist, however, declared that he “never stopped running” and that he would be in the presidential race.
