In the 11th hour moves ahead of the November 5 US Presidential elections, Kamala Harris and Donald Trump are making final campaign pushes in key political battlegrounds.

OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News gathered that Harris focused on Michigan in the Rust Belt on Sunday, rallying in Detroit and Michigan State University to solidify Democratic support in crucial Great Lakes states.

Meanwhile, Trump targeted swing states Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Georgia as he aims to secure key electoral votes.

Over 75 million Americans have already voted early, with polls showing razor-thin margins across seven decisive battlegrounds.

RealClearPolitics polling averages show less than a three-point lead for either candidate in any of these States.

Trump has faced recent backlash from a rally at Madison Square Garden, where controversial comments from warm-up speakers alienated key demographics.

Harris, on the other hand, drew a large, energized crowd at a rally on the Ellipse in Washington. Her campaign seeks to capture momentum with a new ad airing during NFL games in crucial States, highlighting her pledge to “build a brighter future.”

In a surprise “Saturday Night Live” appearance, Harris poked fun at Trump with comedian Maya Rudolph, appealing to a wider audience.

Meanwhile, the final Des Moines Register poll showed Harris leading in Iowa, a State Trump won in past elections, marking a shift in public sentiment.
