In a move geared towards bridging the digital skill gap among youths in Ogun state, the Deputy Governor, Engr. Mrs. Noimot Salako-Oyedele has, on Monday, commissioned a new Tech Hub established by the Adeola Azeez Community Care Foundation at Emmanuel Anglican Primary School, Italupe, Ijebu-Ode

OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News reports that the Deputy Governor commended the initiative, saying,

"I commend the strong partnerships behind this initiative, including Teach For Nigeria and other partners, and appreciate Teach For Nigeria’s continued support in improving access to quality education across Ogun State."

She further stated that, "This Tech Hub will enhance digital learning for pupils, support teachers, and open new learning opportunities for the wider community, complementing our Government’s education programmes."

She, however, encouraged the school and community to take ownership of this facility, use it responsibly, secure it, and maintain it so many children can benefit for years to come.

Engr. Mrs Noimot Salako-Oyedele congratulated the founder, Mrs. Adeola Azeez, who she described as "A big sister and mentor who exemplifies how professional success in business can be channelled into purposeful service", maintaining that "Ogun State is proud of and grateful to its indigenes, who like her, invest their resources, ideas, and energy in uplifting others."
