As part of efforts geared towards deploying the instrumentality of music and the media to add significant value to the Golden Jubilee Anniversary of Ogun state, Abeokuta-based multi-talented broadcaster and music artiste, Ambassador Olufemi Orunsola stage named Awe, has dropped a new song track tagged Golden Jubilee Gateway (GJG).
OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News reports that Ambassador Olufemi Orunsola, who has earned a reputation for dropping evergreen hit singles such as the popular "NAIJA FLAG FLYING" national unity song and "KO GBA GIDIGBO", an anti-election violence song that enjoyed massive airplay on radio and television stations during the 2019 and 2023 general elections, has now added another banger focused on the Golden Jubilee anniversary.
A statement released by the Artiste Manager, Mr. Tunde Adeojo made available on Sunday evening says that "Awe is here once again in his self-styled Afro-fusion music for mass mobilization with this celebratory upbeat, rhythmic and melodious musical single track that captures the core essence of the Golden Jubilee Anniversary celebration by the Gateway state."
Adeojo also noted that "The 50th Anniversary of the Gateway State, known for its many firsts in Nigeria and the parade of a galaxy of high-networth individuals and achievers cutting across virtually all spheres of human endeavours, is truly worthy of celebration in a grand style."
While calling on all citizens and residents of the state to contribute towards making the celebration colourful and memorable, Awe stressed that young dynamic Ogun youths are encouraged to participate in a 5-Step Dance Challenge by vibing to the new single release via a short dance video uploaded online across social media platforms to display their creative ingenuity as individuals or as a group using the hash tags #ogun@50, #ogungoldenjubilee and

"Further updates on the Ogun Golden Jubilee 5-Step Dance Challenge and the prizes to be won by Ogun residents who participate in it will be updated on relevant social media in the coming days", Adeojo hinted.

Over the years, Awe has earned a reputation for composing and producing multiple social mobilization songs on topical societal issues as well as several winsome election campaign songs for major political aspirants in Ogun state and beyond, including the incumbent Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun and President Bola Ahmed Tinubu during the 2023 general elections.
