Nollywood Actress, Adunni Ade, recently shared insights into how she juggles her acting career and responsibilities as a mother.
As gathered by OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News in an interview with Hip TV's Trending, Alumni Ade emphasized the importance of prioritizing her children, explaining that finding a balance is essential for any parent, regardless of their profession.
"As a parent, it's not optional to find balance. No matter what field you're in, whether it's acting, medicine, or any other profession, you have to provide for and take care of your children," she said.
Although her career is significant, but regardless, Ade made it clear that her children always come first.
The actress revealed that she ensures that her work schedule allows her to be fully present for key moments in the lives of her children such as school programs, sports events, and other milestones.
"My children are my priority, so I plan my work around their needs. I never miss important events like school programs or sports activities. When I'm with my kids, they have my full attention, and work can wait," Ade noted.
For parents facing similar challenges, Ade recommended options like boarding school or relying on trusted family or friends for short-term help but advised never to overlook their children's needs.
"I placed my kids in boarding school, which is something to consider. Or, if necessary, trusted family members can help during brief periods of work. But whatever you do, don't neglect your kids," Ade concluded her advise.
