As part of efforts towards enhancing the delivery of quality education across the three Senatorial Districts in Ogun state, the Federal Government, through the Universal Basic Education Commission (UBEC), has transferred ownership of a newly constructed smart model school to the Ogun State Government.
During the school's handover ceremony in Ikenne, the Executive Chairman of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), Dr. Femi Majekodunmi, highlighted the institution's role in expanding access to quality education for more students.
He praised the facility, which includes Pre-Primary, Primary, and Junior Secondary Schools, as a modern and well-equipped establishment.
As gathered by OPEN TELEVISION Naija (OTN) News, Majekodunmi emphasized that a Head Teacher and staff have been assigned to ensure proper management, while expressing gratitude to UBEC for the initiative.
SUBEB's Secretary, Dr. Mikhail Lawal, further pledged that the school would be well-maintained and secure.
OTN News reports that the UBEC State Coordinator, Mr. Sola Badmus, encouraged the State Government to make full use of the digital classrooms and state-of-the-art amenities, which include a laboratory, robotics studio, library, football pitch, and lawn tennis court.
