Tinubu, Shetima, Ganduje Set to Host 3-Day National Dialogues With Over 3,000 Nigerian Youths

In a move that depicts a strategic response to the demands of Nigerian youths to have a say in the governance of the country, President Bola Tinubu, Vice President Kashim Shetima, and APC National Chairman, Abdullahi Ganduje will host a 3-day National Dialogues with no fewer than 3,000 Nigerian youths between September 3rd to 5th, 2024.

The Presidential National Dialogues event targeted at young Nigerians from across the nation aims at fostering youth engagement and empowerment.

OPEN TELEVISION Naija (OTN) News reports that the Progressive Young Leaders Summit is designed to close the gap between youth and Government, encouraging dialogue across generations and providing a space for young Nigerians to engage with President Tinubu's Renewed Hope Agenda. 

Over the three days, the summit will host Ministerial Town Hall sessions, allowing participants to directly discuss key issues like education, technology, economic growth, and reforms with Government leaders. 

Vice President Shettima will inaugurate the event, while President Tinubu will deliver a keynote address and receive the summit's final communique. 

OTN News gathered that the summit themed “Shaping the Future We Want: From Restiveness to Inclusion, Action, and Development,” with a focus harnessing the energy and ambitions of Nigerian youths to build a future aligned with their collective vision. 

Organized by the APC National Youth Leader's Office, the summit will bring together leaders from both the public and private sectors, as well as policymakers and young executives. 

According to the APC National Youth Leader, Dr. Dayo Israel, the summit is vital to ensuring that young Nigerians have a meaningful role in shaping national policy, with the direct involvement of both President Tinubu and Vice President Shettima highlighting their commitment to youth empowerment.

The summit, which is free but requires registration, is expected to attract over 3,000 participants nationwide," Dr. Israel revealed.

He concluded that the summit seeks to ignite young the passion and creativity of young Nigerians to help realize the Renewed Hope Agenda, aiming for a Nigeria that reflects the next generation's aspirations.
