Rediscovering The Calendar: Calendars Take the Centre Stage of Discourse on "E YIRI E WO!" Media Show This Monday

As the new year 2026 unfolds, the focus on Nigeria's leading grassroots socio-surveillance campus multimedia show, "E YIRI E WO! shifts to the global phenomenon of framing time using the calendar.

A release made available to OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News by the host of the knowledge-based programme, a maverick Broadcaster and Development Communication expert, Ambassador Olufemi Orunsola has it that the first episode of the Monday morning programme in the new year is poised to explore new frontiers of knowledge and drive a rediscovery of sundry issues related to human existence on earth in relation to the measuring and framing of time.

Ambassador Orunsola wrote, "Join me on Monday, January 5, 2026 on MAPOLY RADIO 99.7 FM Ojere Abeokuta as we beam the searchlight on the phenomenon called Calendar."

The practical broadcast lecturer further hinted that among other things, "Answers Will Be Provided to Critical Learning Questions Such As: How Is the Calendar Related to Measuring Time in Relation to the Sun and the MoonOrigins of the Calendar, Types of Global Calendars, Jewish Calendar, Islamic Calendar, Chinese Calendar and the Yoruba Calendar."

In his typical pragmatic style of posing questions to elicit researched answers from audiences and participants, Orunsola challenges audiences of his grassroots show usually delivered in Yoruba language to suggest the right Yoruba word for "Calendar"

Other salient questions to be answered on the show this week's episode include:
