Congressman Son of Captured Venezuelan President Talks Tough, Calls for Anti-US Protests

Nicolas Maduro’s son who is a congressman in Venezuela, Nicolas Maduro Guerra, has called for Venezuelans to stage protests on the streets of the country to demand the release of his father who was captured by the US forces over the weekend.
OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News repoets as gathered that the 35-year-old Guerra made this call on Sunday in a defiant audio message shared on social media.
In his words targeted at US President Donald Trump, he said,“You will see us in the streets, you will see us by people’s sides, you will see us fly the flag of dignity"
Guerra, who is one of the of six people, along with his father and stepmother Cilia Flores, accused of narcoterrorism by US authorities also said that they would show weakness even though they want them to appear weak.
Meanwhile, the operation which resulted in the capture of the president has led to the speculation that he was betrayed by someone within his inner cycle.
Guerra, who echoed the rumour, said history would reveal and tell who the traitors who betrayed his father were.
OTN News further reports that Guerra is the only biological son of the ousted president, who later adopted the three children of his second wife, Flores.
