Cameroon Joins Teams Qualified for AFCON 2025 Quarter-Finals

Following a late fight back to beat South Africa 2-1 in Rabat on Sunday night, Cameroon has joined the league of teams to qualify for the quarter-finals of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News reports as gathered that Junior Tchamadeu opened the scoring in the 34th minute of the match.
Two minutes into the restart, Christian Kofane doubled Cameroon’s advantage, as they seemed to be strolling to victory.
However, Evidence Makgopa’s controlled finished in the 88th minute for Bafana Bafana provided a tense ending.
By that win, Cameroon now joins countries like Morocco, Mali and Senegal in the last eight of the tournament.
