Breaking News:Ogun Announces Mid-Term Holiday For Primary, Secondary, Technical Schools

Ogun State Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has announced to the public and private primary and secondary schools and Government Technical Colleges of the Mid-Term holiday for first term, Thursday 30th to Friday 31st October, 2025.

OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News reports that a statement issued and signed by the Honourable Commissioner of Education, Science and Technology, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu, stated that the Mid-Term holiday shall be observed by both public and private primary and secondary schools.

The statement reads in part that “Open day shall be observed by both public and private primary and secondary schools on Wednesday 29th October, 2025.

"Schools are expected to resume for academic activities on Monday, 3rd November, 2025.

The Commissioner urged parents and guardians to take good care of their wards, during the holiday.

In his words, “Parents and guardians are also enjoined to take adequate care of their wards during this holiday."
