A cacophony of reactions has started to train the announcement of President Bola Tinubu's scheduled departure from Abuja for a two-week trip to the United Kingdom.

OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News gathered that the President's leave announcement was made by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Mr. Bayo Onanuga, who stated that the trip is part of his annual leave.

According to the statement, the president will utilize this period as both a working vacation and a retreat to reflect on the ongoing economic reforms of his administration.

This trip follows Tinubu's recent visit to London, where he met with King Charles III. It also marks his 27th international trip since assuming office 16 months ago and his fourth visit to the UK.

OTN News further gathered that President Tinubu has so far visited several countries, including Equatorial Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Kenya, South Africa, Ghana, India, the UAE, the USA, Saudi Arabia, Germany, Ethiopia, Senegal, and Qatar.

He is expected to return to Nigeria upon the conclusion of his leave.

However, despite the explanation that the President's leave was more of a working leave to enable him reflect on the economic reforms of his administration, many Nigerians reacted to the development in different ways.
