Aboro of Ibese Land, Oba Rotimi Mulero Celebrates Resilience of Nigerians, Calls For Unity, Commitment to Nation-Building

As Nigeria marked her 64th Independence Day, the Aboro of Ancient Ibese Land, His Majesty, Alayeluwa Oba Rotimi Oluseyi Mulero, extended his heartfelt greetings to all Nigerians, particularly those in Ibese, Ogun State, celebrating the resident spirit of Nigerians at home and abroad.
OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) gathered from an Independence Anniversary statement signed by the Royal Father, that the Yoruba monarch has praised the resilient spirit of Nigerians, urging Nigerians at home and abroad to honor the heritage of the nation and work collectively towards building a brighter future for the welfare of all.
The monarch's message paid tribute to the founding fathers of the nation and the leaders who have continued to safeguard the country’s sovereignty and liberty.
"I pay tribute to the founding fathers of our great country, who envisioned a sovereign nation, and to our leaders who have safeguarded our liberty," the monarch said.
OTN News further reports as he emphasized the importance of unity across diverse backgrounds, highlighting that the strength of the nation lies in the solidarity of its people.
As Nigeria marked 64 years of independence, Oba Mulero also called on the nation's leaders to reaffirm their commitment to the core democratic values that form the foundation of the country.
He however stressed the need for social justice and economic empowerment to benefit all citizens, urging leaders to demonstrate their dedication to ensuring equality and prosperity.
"Congratulations to our dear country, Nigeria, and Happy Independence Day!" he declared, emphasizing the importance of resilience, unity, and collective effort in the face of challenges.
In conclusion, the Aboro extended his congratulations to all citizens on the celebration of the country's 64th anniversary of independence.
