Kebbi Governor, Nasir Idris Donates Luxury SUVs to Four First-Class Emirs For Their Role in Promoting Peace

The Governor of Kebbi State, Nasir Idris, presented Toyota Land Cruiser vehicles to four first-class Emirs on Wednesday, acknowledging their role in promoting peace, security, and development in the State.
OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News gathered that during the ceremony in Birnin Kebbi, Idris emphasized the value his administration places on traditional institutions.
He highlighted that, like members of the House of Assembly and other Government officials, the Emirs deserve updated resources for their work.
He stated, "Today, we are addressing our royal fathers’ transportation needs, recognizing their vital contributions to community peace and stability."
OTN News revealed that the recipients of the vehicles were the Emir of Gwandu, Alhaji Muhammadu Iliyasu-Bashar, the Emir of Argungu, Alhaji Sama’ila Muhammad-Mera, the Emir of Yauri, Dr. Muhammad Zayyanu-Abdullahi, and the Emir of Zuru, Alhaji Muhammad Sani-Sami.
The Governor added that the vehicles were identical to his own, reinforcing the status and dignity of the Emirs.
Governor Idris also reiterated his administration's dedication to pursuing constitutional roles for traditional rulers, recognizing their importance in solving community challenges and fostering societal progress.
