Ogun Youth Assembly Chairman, Habeeb Whyte Congratulates Big Afo on Emergence As New MAPOLY SUG President

Congratulatory messages have started to pour in as Comrade Afolabi Temitope, popularly known as Big Afo, emerges as the newly elected President of the Students’ Union Government (SUG) of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), Abeokuta.

OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News reports that the Chairman of the Ogun Youth Assembly, Ambassador Habeeb Whyte, who led the pack of early well-wishers, issued his congratulatory message to newsmen on Friday.

OTN News recalls that Ambassador Whyte, who has been at the forefront of youth engagement in Ogun State, emphasized the importance of student leadership as a training ground for future political and community leaders. 

In his words, "It is indeed a proud moment for us in Ogun Youth Assembly to see one of our own, Comrade Afolabi Temitope, attaining this remarkable feat. His victory is not just for MAPOLY students but for the entire youth constituency in Ogun State."

Ambassador Whyte expressed optimism that Afolabi’s administration will build on the existing foundation of student leadership in MAPOLY and foster a vibrant atmosphere for academic excellence, student inclusiveness, and welfare, urging the new SUG President to remain focused, accountable, and visionary in the discharge of his responsibilities.

Ambassador Whyte further called on the new SUG President to see his victory as an opportunity to unite the student body, promote inclusiveness, and provide a voice for all, regardless of affiliations.

While praying that Afolabi’s tenure in office will be fruitful, he stressed that the Ogun Youth Assembly is proud of Comrade Afolabi’s achievement and will continue to stand by him in his quest to diligently serve the students constituency at Moshood Abiola Polytechnic Abeokuta.
