Ogun Records Landmark Boost to Health Care As BTT Diagnostic Unveils New World Class Diagnostic Centre in Abeokuta
Ogun State has received a landmark boost to health care delivery as BTT Diagnostic Centre, a new world class, fully equipped medical diagnostic services company was unveiled along the Ajebo Road axis of Abeokuta, the state capital on Wednesday at a colourful ceremony attended by prominent Nigerians and Nigerians from Diaspora-based Prestige Club of New York, Elites Ladies of New York and other friends of the Babatunde Adeyemi medical family.

ABEOKUTA - OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA OTN News reports that health care delivery standards in Nigeria experienced a landmark boost on Wednesday as BTT Diagnostic Centre, Ajebo Road, Abeokuta was unveiled with a colourful ceremony that attracted government functionaries, prominent Nigerians and Nigerians from the Diaspora.
OTN News further reports that while speaking during unveiling ceremony, Dr. Babatunde Adeyemi, a Diaspora-based Nigerian medical practitioner who envisioned the construction and completion of the project alongside with his wife, a Diaspora-based Doctor of Nursing, Dr. Mrs. Abimbola Adeyemi, appreciated Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun for creating an enabling environment for investment in critical sectors of the economy, adding that the traditional stool of Onikopa of Ikopa Orile also gave a the project a significant.
The Royal Father, in his Goodwill message appreciated the couple for their courageous decision to bring the invaluable project to Abeokuta, pleading that other Nigeria in Diaspora should emulate the positive moves and contributions of the Adeyemi family by investing in Nigeria in order to solve youth unemployment problem and drive reduction in opportunistic crimes and fraud among Nigerian youths.
Dr.Adeyemi who affirmed that the new multi-million naira ultra modern BTT Diagnostic Centre is poised to break the glass and class ceilings on Diagnosis, noted that accurate diagnosis is a core foundational requirement for effective medical treatment across the world, noting that the absence of befitting diagnostic equipments and manpower constitutes a major problem in the medical treatment curve in Nigeria.
The medical professional couple in separate interviews granted OTN News correspondent revealed that the Unveiling of the BTT Diagnostic Centre in Abeokuta is indeed a dream come through as they had envisioned making a significant contribution to the first phase of standard medical treatment in Nigeria, considering the limited availability and attendant accessibility of Nigerians to standard diagnostic services, noting that the absence of such has contributes to the growing trend of medical tourism among the top elites and political leaders in the country.
Dr Babatunde Adeyemi revealed that "This project is our own way of giving back to the society of our roots," while his wife affirmed that, "This project is a dream come true indeed!".
The couple revealed that world class diagnostic services such as X-rays, Scans, Mammogram, MRI and dialysis, which has only been previously available in few federal government facilities, are made available to Nigerians.
Describing their adventure into the project as a strategic way of giving back to their roots society, Dr. Adeyemi maintained that although many people tried to discourage him from investments in the health sector in Nigeria via the BTT Diagnostic Centre project, he remains an unapologetic optimist in the need for Nigerians in Diaspora to give back towards the development of motherland, recalling that he was a beneficiary of free medical education in Nigeria before becoming a globally renowned medical practitioner.
OTN News further reports that members of the Prestige Club of New York, all the way from the United States of America, turned up in their fleet to give support and solidarity to Dr Babatunde Adeyemi who is the Chairman of the Nigerian Diaspora Club.
Similarly, top executive members of Elites Ladies of New York flew into country, thronging the ancient city of Abeokuta to give solidarity and support to Dr Mrs. Abimbola Adeyemi one of their own on the auspicious occasion of the unveiling of the BTT Diagnostic Centre located conspicuously along the Ajebo Road axis of Abeokuta
