How Former Chief Executive Officer of Konga Nick Imudia Commits Suicide at His Lekki Apartment in Lagos

Former Chief Executive Officer of Konga, one of Nigeria’s e-commerce giants, Nick Imudia, has reportedly ended his own life by commiting suicide in Lagos.
OPEN TELEVISION Naija reports that Imudia had reportedly committed the act by jumping from the balcony of his apartment in the Lekki area of Lagos State on the evening of Tuesday, June 25, 2024.
Before his death, the businessman was said to have reportedly made a call to his brother who is based in the United States, to give him instructions on how to distribute his wealth. He also called his young daughter to inform her that he would always be there for her.
As at the time of filing this report, the sad news of Imudia's death has shocked his friends, family and associates who are still in shock as to why he would commit suicide.
OPEN TELEVISION Naija recalls that Nick Imudia hails from Ika South Local Government Area of Delta State. He was previously married to the mother of his young daughter but the marriage has ended due to irreconcilable differences.
The Force Public Relations Officer, Lagos state, Benjamin Hundeyin, has confirmed the case to the press.
“Yes, it is true. He committed the act on June 25,” Hundeyin revealed.
Meanwhile, Police authorities have disclosed that investigations and probes into why the engineer turned tech entrepreneur committed suicide, seeking relevant information from his friends, associates and anyone who might have any useful information on the reason behind the suicide death of the Tech entrepreneur, is already in motion.
