The Ogun State Police Command is seeking the assistance of the general public in locating one SRC Lasisi Funmilayo Oluwamayokun, a 38-year-old female officer of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Abeokuta Unit, and her daughter, Sewa Lasisi, who have been declared missing.
OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News reports that the Police Public Relations Officer, Ogun State Police Command Headquarters, Eleweran, Abeokuta revealed that the report was lodged at Kemta Divisional Police Headquarters on Tuesday, 5th November 2025, by a Federal Road Safety Officer serving in Abeokuta, Ogun State, in company of the victims’ family members.
According to the report, SRC Lasisi Funmilayo Oluwamayokun and her daughter left their residence at Obasanjo Hilltop Estate, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, on Sunday morning, 2nd November 2025, and have not returned home since then. All efforts to reach her on phone have proved abortive.
The Commissioner of Police, Ogun State Command, CP Lanre Ogunlowo, Ph.D., has ordered an immediate and thorough investigation to ascertain their whereabouts and ensure their safe return.
Members of the public with any useful information that could assist in locating the missing persons are kindly urged to contact the nearest police station or call the Ogun State Police Command’s emergency numbers: 0800 000 9111, 0915 957 8888, or +234 803 860 9898.
The Command assures that all information received will be treated with the utmost confidentiality.
OTN News recalls that SRC Lasisi was declared missing barely days after the Public Relations Officer of the Ogun Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps, Florence Okpe passed on after a brief illness.
SRC Lasisi's disappearance alongside her daughter, therefore, carries a huge burden of concerns as the FRSC mourns its spokesperson.
