Oando Plc to Sponsor 2024 Alake's Annual Golf Tournament in Abeokuta

OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News, reports that a leading indigenous energy solutions provider, Oando Plc has been announced as the official sponsor of this year’s Oba Alake Annual Golf Tournament, teeing-off from December 5th – 7th, 2024 at Abeokuta Golf Club (AGC), Oke Mosan, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
OTN news further reports that the company sponsorship of the annual golf event organized in honour of His Royal Majesty, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo CFR, Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, which started in 2018 is to demonstrate the company’s consistent commitment to giving back to the community and promoting healthy lifestyle.
The highly anticipated tournament is aimed to bring together golf enthusiasts from across Nigeria to foster camaraderie, promote competitive golfing and celebrate the rich cultural heritage of Egbaland and its revered monarch.
Highlight of the event has it that the Caddies and staff game will tee-off on Thursday while invited professional golfers, arrival, practice round as well as cocktail holds on Friday.
The amateur golfers and ceremonial tee-off to be performed by Oba Gbadebo is slated for Saturday just as the closing and presentation ceremony hold later in the day.
