MAPOLY Alumni Lagos Spotlights Sotowo Abolade on January 10, Focus on Navigating New Tax Reforms, Realities

As part of stategic moves to ensure that its members start the new year 2026 both informed and prepared for socio-economic realities in the country, the Alumni Association of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Lagos chapter, is set to spotlight one of its, Sotowo Abolade, on the monthly interactive programme of the Association - Alumni Spotlight.
OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News reports as gathered that the body code named MAPOLY in Lagos, features Sotowo Abolade, a seasoned business development consultant, who is the Set President, Accountancy 2009, and now, the MD, Precision Price Lead Consult, Lagos.
A statement by the Association's Public Relations Officer, Mr. Olusegun Koiki reveals that the Alumni Spotlight session, which is the first edition in the new year 2026, themed:
Navigating tax Obligations, Regulatory Changes and Broader Macro-economic Realities, "Will take a peek into Sotowo’s professional journey - the experiences, decisions, and lessons that have shaped his career - and from that lens, explore what smart financial planning for 2026 should look like in today’s evolving economic environment."
It further adds that the Vice Chairman of the Association, a broadcast veteran, Olufadeke Omo-Omorodion is the Moderator of the session which will xray real-life insights from the Alumni Guest, an Accountant and Corporate Advisor, to afford participants an opportunity to reflect on how professionals and business owners can navigate tax obligations, regulatory changes, and broader macro-economic realities, while making more structured, data-driven financial decisions.
"Expect an engaging conversation, practical perspectives, and lessons drawn from lived experience - not a lecture, but a story with value," the statement adds.

The Chairman of MAPOLY Alumni Association, Lagos Mr. Gafar Odubote, who is the Chief Host of the virtual interactive session, enjoins all participants to kindly download the

For the records, Alumni Spotlight premiered last year and has featured many old students of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (And the then, Ogun State Polytechnic, Abeokuta) who have distinguished themselves and are leading in various industries.
