Ebonyi Civil Servants Jubilate As Governor Nwifuru Approves ₦70,000 Minimum Wage
Civil servants in Ebonyi State are in jubilation mood as Governor Francis Nwifuru has announced approval of a new minimum wage of Seventy Thousand Naira for civil servants in the state.

Civil servants in Ebonyi State celebrated as Governor Francis Nwifuru approved a new minimum wage of Seventy Thousand Naira.
The announcement came during the Ojiji Izhi New Yam Festival 2024, where the Governor ordered the implementation to begin in September.
OPEN TELEVISION Naija (OTN) News gathered that Governor Nwifuru criticized the poor handling of Government contracts, particularly the unfinished housing estates in Izo Autonomous Community, Ishielu Local Government Area.
He instructed the Housing Commissioner to ensure the immediate completion and painting of the houses.
He also called on citizens to report any delays in Government projects, stressing that anyone obstructing his administration's efforts is acting against the interests of Izhi-Nnodo Ekumenyi.
