Don Jazzy Admits Fear of Marriage, Says He’s Scared of Losing Wealth in Divorce

OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News reports that Nigerian music executive and Mavin Records founder, Michael Collins Ajereh, popularly known as Don Jazzy, has revealed that his fear of losing his wealth in a divorce has made him reluctant to get married.
OTN News further reports that the award-winning producer speaking during an interview with Habby Forex, opened up about his anxiety toward marriage, admitting that stories of men losing their fortunes after separation have made him extremely cautious.
According to him, “You will see someone that has worked all his life and now has to split his money because of divorce. I’m actually scared of those things. The money I have is for my generation.”
The music mogul explained that his fears stem from real-life examples of men who lost significant portions of their assets after failed marriages, particularly those who did not have prenuptial agreements.
He further disclosed that although he has been in relationships before, he is currently single and waiting for the right partner.
“I’ve actually dated before. Currently, I’m single. I’m scared, though God’s time is the best. I just want the right person, even though I’m not sure if I’m the right person for somebody’s daughter,” he added.
OTN News observes that Don Jazzy’s revelation has since stirred reactions online, with fans sharing mixed opinions about his views on marriage and financial security.
Some sympathized with his concerns, while others encouraged him to overcome his fears and embrace love when the right person comes along.
