Victory Life Bible Church Celebrates Revd. Fola Achudume As She Goes Home in A Blaze of Glory

The Victory Life Bible Church has dedicated the last Sunday service in the month of August, 2024 to a Sombre celebration of the life and times of Revd. Fola Achudume following the final funeral and Intermet of the remains of the wife of the set man of the Victory Life Bible Church (VLBC), in a mausoleum specially built on the precinct of the Headquarters of the Church on Ajebo Road in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

The Sunday service which was coordinated by Revd. Achudume focused on the need for Christians to follow the guidance of the Lord as the pentecostal preacher assured the church congregation that the late Revd. Fola Achudume had actually fulfilled her divine assignment on earth with utmost commitment to the noble cause of empowering women to discover the divine assignment royalty in them. 

OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News recalls  that the remains of the founder of the Royal Ladies International were interred in a strictly private Intermet ceremony which climaxed a series of comprehensive rites of passage the Pastor's wife,widely referred to with a plethora of adjectives and phrases by different people in the Christian circles, including “God’s General”, “Lioness of Jesus”, “Indefatigable Evangelist”, “Teacher of Teachers”, “Mentor,” to mention but a few.

The late spouse of the founder of Victory Life Bible Church , Reverend Fola Achudume has been described as a woman of remarkable impact and extraordinary reputation who touched many lives selflessly.

Earlier, at a funeral service for the deceased woman of God held at the VLBC Life Cathedral in Abeokuta on Thursday, the Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun who was ably represented by his Deputy Governor, Engineer Noimot Salako-Oyedele, said Reverend Fola Achudume was an ambassador of Jesus Christ, a pillar of strength to the womenfolk and an advocate of a better society.

The Governor extolled the virtues of the late cleric who according to him,remained committed to serving God and humanity till she breathed her last, extending his heartfelt condolences to the husband, Apostle Lawrence Achudume,the family and the entire VLBC and prayed God to grant them the fortitude to bear the great loss.

Also present at the service was the wife of the governor, Mrs Bamidele Abiodun who said she is deeply pained by the demise of the God's general, praying that God will give all families and friends the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

The Executive Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Governor, Pastor Umo Enowho was also present at service, noted that Reverend Achudume was indeed an amazon and a lover of all who played significant roles among women and the youth,urging the family to take solace in the fact that she lived well.

 The General Overseer ,El Buba outreach ministry international, prophet lsa El-buba who delivered a sermon at the funeral said death is a phase which all humans must pass through to make heaven,hence people should live right as the only way to make heaven is to live a righteous life.

According to him, the deceased has put in her best in impacting many lives and has left a remarkable footprint in different parts of the country.

In his goodwill message,the former first lady of Akwa lbom state,Mrs Martha Emmanuel described the late Reverend Achudume as God sent who has touched many lives.

Similarly, the wife of the General Overseer of the Agape Christina ministries Reverend Funke Adejumo said the deceased has fought a good fight, praying that her soul will rest in the bosom of the Saviour.
