VeryDarkMan Visits Chinese Keke Factory, Exposes Real Cost, Evil Nigerian Businesses Dealers Do

OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News reports that popular Nigerian activist and social commentator, Martins Vincent Otse, widely known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has set the internet on fire by stirring a fresh debate over the cost of tricycles in Nigeria following his recent visit to a major tricycle manufacturing plant in China.
OTN News further reports that VDM, who responded to concerns raised by one of his followers, who complained that tricycles are being sold for as high as ₦7 million in Nigeria, quickly toured one of China’s largest factories to uncover the true cost of production.
In a video shared on his social media platforms, VDM showcased the manufacturing process of different tricycle models, from assembly to finishing, highlighting the features of modern versions.
According to him, a brand-new tricycle in China costs about ₦3.5 million, significantly lower than the prices charged by local dealers in Nigeria.
OTN News observes that he noted that the Chinese models are of superior quality's, featuring a front windscreen, fan, and Bluetooth connectivity.
OTN News further observes his move has since sparked reactions among Nigerians, with many calling for a review of import costs, dealer markups, and government policies affecting the pricing of commercial tricycles in the country.
