Tinubu Heads To France for Nigeria-France Trade Relations, VP Shettima Departs For Côte d’Ivoire

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has departed Abuja on Wednesday for a State visit to Paris, France, accompanied by First Lady, Oluremi Tinubu and senior Government officials.
OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News gathered that the three-day visit, hosted by French President, Emmanuel Macron, aims to enhance trade relations between Nigeria and France.
Meanwhile, Vice President, Kashim Shettima, also departed Abuja the same day for Abidjan, Côte d’Ivoire, where he will attend the opening ceremony of the 2024 International Exhibition of Extractive and Energy Resources (SIREXE) conference.
The SIREXE event, running from November 27 to December 2 at the Abidjan Exhibition Centre, focuses on sustainable development strategies for the energy and extractive industries.
Invited by Côte d’Ivoire’s Vice President, Tiémoko Meyliet Koné, Shettima is expected to share insights on Nigeria’s experience in oil and gas exploration.
