RCCG Rose of Sharon Floats Nine Lessons & Carol's Service 2025, Invites Egba Carol Crooner Awe

The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Rose of Sharon Headquarters, Ogun Province 15, Region 62 has announced the 2025 edition of the Nine Lessons and Carols Service of the church themed:Light to the World, scheduled to take place on Sunday, December 21st, 2025 featuring among other things, a live ministration of the wave-making latest Christmas Carol song in town by Awe -Egba Carol.

OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News reports that the Christmas Carol service according to a statement made available by the Pastor-in-Charge of Zone 2(PICZ 2) Pastor Temitope Ajisafe that the service is billed to hold at the Church Auditorium located at Atokun, Idi Ope off Ajebo road, Abeokuta on Sunday December 21 from 11 am prompt.

OTN News further reports that Ministering at the Carol service isthe Pastor-in-Charge-of-Parish, (PICP), Pastor John Olusegun T. under the anointing of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enich Adejare Adeboye.

The statement further reveals that the host choir, the Rose of Sharon Headquarters Choir will Minister in songs alongside other guests artistes among whom is multi-talented broadcaster and Abeokuta-based music maker, Ambassador Olufemi Orunsola who recently released a single that has become recognized as the first ever officially produced and released Christmas Carol song in Egba dialect in the history of Christmas carols in Nigeria and across the world.

OTN News recalls that the Egba Carol song by Awe was first ministered live at the Christian Workers Fellowship of the Ogun State Agricultural Development Agency(OGADEP) in addition to subsequent renditions at other Christmas Carol services organized by some faith based organisations and end-of-the-year parties organised by some corporate organisations and associations in Abeokuta, the Ogun State, capital where the dialect deployed in the tract, the Egba dialect is prominently used by indigenous people of the land.
