The Special Adviser to the President, Chief Ajuri Ngelale Has Released a Press Statement, Notifying Nigerians About a National Broadcast By President Bola Tinubu Scheduled for Live Transmission on Sunday August 4,2024 and a Repeat Broadcast By 3 pm of the Same Day

Reports reaching us at OPEN TELEVISION Naija (OTN) news desk have it that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is set to address Nigerians via a live national broadcast,on Sunday August 4, 2024.
The President's scheduled national broadcast is coming amid the ongoing nationwide #EndBadGovernance protests, which has escalated to violent protests with incidences of wanton destructions of public property, looting and arson recorded in some parts of the country.
The approximately 82-word State House Press Release by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Chief Ajuri Ngelale, reads that "President Bola Tinubu will address the nation in a broadcast on Sunday, August 4, 2024, at 7:00 am.
The press statement dated August 3,2024, reads in part that;"Television, radio, and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to plug into the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) and the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN) for the broadcast."
It further reveals that "The broadcast will be repeated on the network services of the NTA and the FRCN at 3:00 pm and 7:00 pm on the same
With this development, Nigerians are eager to connect to the frequencies of the much-awaited national broadcast, expected to, among other things, accord the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria an opportunity to officially address some of the grievances of the protesters and also announce strategic policies and course of actions to be put in place by the current administration towards ameliorating the suffering of the protesting masses.
Expectedly, as the nationwide protests move from day 3 to the fourth day, the President's national broadcast could go a long way to persuade protesters who have against all odds, threats and persuasions remained adamant on continuing the peaceful demonstrations until their grievances are addressed by President Tinubu.
