In a new twist to the paranormal global phenomenon of haunted houses, popular Yoruba broadcaster, Makinde Fasunle has uncovered a haunted house where ghosts from graves in the residence, reportedly throw stones at residents of the house.
OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News reports that the Abeokuta-based freelance broadcaster, Makinde Fasunle uncovered the haunted house located at Ilogbo area of the Ogun State capital.
OTN News further reports that the freelance broadcaster, known for venturing into environmental surveillance reports about strange and bizarre occurrences in the society, led his media team to the haunted house, to interview the landlady of the house and other residents of the house, who said they have since moved away from the house to sleep in nearby houses.
In a viral video reporting the paranormal occurrence, uploaded on the YouTube channel of Iroyin Awikokonko TV on Thursday, Makinde Fasunle was seen chanting the shepherd's psalm number 23 (The Lord is my shepherd......), robbing his own head with his right hand as he was been guided round the haunted house, which is surrounded by several dilapidated graves, including the grave of the father of the landlady, the mother of the landlady and a couple of other graves.
The landlady of the house, an elderly woman, Moriamo Durowoju testified that she has been repeated grievously stoned on her head and chests by the unknown ghosts in the house in recent times, showing the injury she sustained from the paranormal encounter at the back of her head.
Another resident of the house who identified herself as Kehinde laid claim to the fact that she, as well as her children, have suffered similar fate in the hands of stone-throwing ghosts in the haunted house before she fleed from the house.
OTN News reports that strange enough, some pieces of white gravestones allegedly thrown at residents by the unseen ghosts in the haunted house were seen on the floor of the house as well as on the roof of the house.
The white stones in question bear direct semblance with grave stones sighted on the grave of the father of the landlady located in front of the house.
Makinde Fasunle while interviewing the residents of the haunted house asked them about their primary suspicion and attempts by them to find solution to the paranormal experience.
OTN News further recalls that in human history, Radio 1 presenter Sian Eleri had investigated the paranormal mystery of the gravestone in the garden.
It will also be recalled that ghost hunting at 'haunted house' is a phenomenon that has sparked global discussions over the years as one of the unexplained paranormal occurrences in the world.
Peter Shuttlewort, a BBC News reporter had reported that about 300 apparent paranormal phenomena was documented at a remote 17th Century house that had national media coverage because of supposed spooky goings-on.
The multiple claims of the unexplained was a tale that interested Hollywood. It came after a family started to speak about their Penyffordd Farm nightmare.
Reports of muffled voices in empty rooms, figures appearing, hearing children singing and carvings and stains appearing on walls were brought to national attention by mum-of-four Rose-Mary Gower who said she was desperate for answers.
There were also claims of a huge wooden owl moving across the house on its own, and a pregnant girl appearing on the patio of their farmhouse in north Wales and then vanishing.
In August 2023, those reports of supernatural stories have been investigated in a new BBC documentary fronted by Radio 1 presenter Sian Eleri, who heard from those who say multiple spirits were doing stuff at Penyffordd Farm that no-one could explain.
Penyffordd Farm - which translates as end of the road in Welsh - was situated in a remote area of north Wales
