Police Arrest Man For Killing Over N4,000

OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News reports as gathered that the police command in Ekiti has arrested a man identified as John Dindul Selbol, 26, in connection with the killing of another, identified as Michael, during a fight over N4,000 in Ado Ekiti.
OTN News further reports as gathered that a sources who confirmed this incident on Sunday to news men, said that the incident occurred on Aug. 15 at Uso community along Ado–Afao road.
According to the sources, the suspects, identified as Michael (surname and age yet unknown), from Kafanchan Local Government Area of Kaduna State, and John Dindul Selbol, 26, from Langtang Local Government Area of Plateau State, engaged in a violent fight at about 10:30 p.m.
The sources further explained that both men sustained serious injuries during the altercation, and Michael was rushed to Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital, Ado Ekiti, where he was confirmed dead by a medical doctor.
“Scene of the incident was visited, photographs taken, and the corpse deposited at the hospital morgue for autopsy,” the sources added.
Selbol, who also sustained injuries, is receiving treatment at the hospital under police custody while investigation continues.
However, the police are yet to release a statement over the scene as the investigation continues.
