Giving more insights into the profiling project, the Executive Director of HDAN, Festus Adebayo revealed that the selection was based on a critical appraisal of their performances in the past year with a report by its first specialized television station, Housing TV Africa, channel 149 on StarTimes.

He noted that these leaders have demonstrated exceptional dedication and innovation in their roles, making them vital stakeholders in the effort to address Nigeria’s housing deficit.

In his words, “After thoroughly reviewing their contributions to the sector in 2024, we identified these individuals as those who deserve to be motivated and engaged. Their record of collaboration with the private sector and partnerships with the federal government position them as key players to drive housing delivery in 2025," adding that

Given the spotlight beamed on these top100 leaders and game changers in the country's real estate and adjoining sectors, 2025 promises to be a transformative year for the real estate industry in Nigeria, despite the current waves of socio-economic realities steering the populous African country in the face.

Meanwhile, the Chief Executive Officer of Pelican Estates, Ambassador Dr Babatunde Adeyemo in his swift response to the new profiling and nomination by HDAN during an exclusive chat with OTN News simply acknowledged that the least aspiration he has for the new year 2025 is to re-write the narratives of real estate in Nigeria, by exploring frontiers never before explored but that are capable of adding significant values to investments of investors in real estate.

"When you observe the trajectory of Pelican Estates from our exploits at Pelican Valley at Laderin, to Pelican Ecostay Apartments at Massa village, Kobake, then our foray into Pelican Greenish Acres and Farms, you certainly need no soothsayer to tell you that we are committed to re-writing the history of real estates in Nigeria via deployment of strategic approaches and technologies"

Ambassador Dr Babatunde Adeyemo is a multiple award winning journalist turned real estate entrepreneur often referred to as the postal boy and Czar of real estate in Ogun State.
