MAPOLY Releases Details Of 49 Students With Fake ND Results

Moshood Abiola Polytechnic Abeokuta has released details of 34 additional students who have just completed their Higher National Diploma but were offered admissions to study various courses after presenting fake National Diploma (ND) results purportedly obtained from various Polytechnics in the country.
According to the list sighted by OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News, as released by the Head, Protocols and Publicity of the Polytechnic, Mr.Yemi Ajibola, the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro, Ogun State tops the list of institutions from which the fake National Diploma results were reportedly obtained from.
Out of the 34 new students with fake results, 15 of them claimed to have finished their ND from the Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro signifying roughly half of the the total size of affected students.
The Federal Polytechnic, Ilaro was followed by Adeseun Ogundoyin Polytechnic, Eruwa, in Oyo State with 12 students presenting fake ND results from the school.
Additionally, seven students from The Polytechnic, Ibadan, were also found to have presented fake ND results to seek for admission into Higher National Diploma (HND) at MAPOLY.
OTN News recalls that on Monday, the institution released the details of the first batch of 15 students with fake ND results with 14 of them from Ibarapa Polytechnic, Eruwa, in Oyo State.
The last student, Abdurazaq Oladimeji Azeez claimed to have obtained his ND result from Abraham Adesanya Polytechnic in Ijebu Igbo, Ogun State.
There has been a growing wave of students unrest on the campus of the state-owned Polytechnic following the decision of the management to verify results supplied from other institutions, of which hike in school fees among other factors have been identified as the cause of the protest that peaked in violent attack on the convoy of the Deputy Governor of Ogun State Engr Dr.Mrs.Noimot Salako-Oyedele on Wednesday by the protesting students.
