Ogun Governor Congratulates New National President of APC Youth League,Comrade Lamide Lawal,Passes Vote of Confidence on the Youth Leader

The Executive Governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun has congratulated the newly elected National President of All Progressives Congress (APC) Youth League, Hon.Olamide Lawal, passing a vote of confidence on the leadership capacity of the Ogun-born-and-bred youth leader

In a press release dated Sunday, 28th July, 2024, Governor Abiodun Extends his heartfelt congratulations on behalf of his family, the Government and the good people of Ogun State to Comrade Lawal on the occasion of his inauguration as the National President of the APC Youth League

OPEN TELEVISION Naija, recalls that the newly inaugurated National President of the APC Youth League( APCYL), Hon. Lawal is an Alumni of Ogun State owned Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Ojere, Abeokuta from where he commenced his youth leadership journey into the cabinet of the Ogun state governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun who has previously appointed him as Special Adviser on Youths.

Governor Abiodun stated that, "Your election to this esteemed position is a testament to your dedication, leadership, and unwavering commitment to the advancement of youth in our great nation." 

"As my Special Assistant on Youth Development, your outstanding contributions have been pivotal in promoting youth development in our dear State."

"Your new role as the leader of the APC Youth League further underscores your ability to inspire and mobilize young people towards meaningful participation in the political process," said, Governor Abiodun.

He further expantiated that Comrade Lawal's vision and enthusiasm are exactly what the nation needs to harness the potential of the youths and steer them towards positive change.

The Governor in his statement revealed that the appointment of Honourable Laws as National President is significant to the state for the APC Youth League to play a crucial role in advocating for good Governance, building leadership capacity, and ensuring sustainable democracy in Nigeria. 

"Once again, I congratulate you on attainment of this remarkable feat. Wishing you a successful and impactful tenure as President of the National President of the APC Youth League. Please accept my hearty congratulations and the assurances of my highest regards, as always," he emphasized on his sincerest congratulations to the National President of APC, Lawal.

Concluding, Governor Dapo Abiodun passed his vote of confidence on the leadership capacity of the new National President of the APCYL, noting that he has utmost confidence that under his leadership, the league will continue to make significant strides in achieving its noble objectives.

Meanwhile, in his response to the Governor's felicitation and identification with him on his new appointment, an obviously grateful Comrade Lawal has aptly described the Ogun state governor as a veritable builder of the future generation leaders.
