My New Epic Movie "Lakatabu" Will Set Cinemas on Fire Soon -Odunlade Adekola

Popular Nollywood actor, Odunlade Adekola has announced his latest effort bent at firing up the entertainment industry as a new blockbuster epic movie titled ‘LAKATABU’ (the monster), is soon to be available for screening in cinemas across country.

The Multiple-award winning star, Odunlade Adekola who made this known on Sunday, said the future of the movie industry in Nigeria holds a tremendous promise and exciting transformations.

Adekola affirmed that “Lakatabu is another hit that would shake the movie industry from the stables of Odunlade Adekola Film Production, OAFP and Film One Studios.

According to him, Lakatabu will be showing soon in various cinemas across the country.

In his words; “the new film is a well researched traditional and historical tale poised to not only entertain, but educate the general public and highlight the cultural richness of our heritage”.

Adekola further explained that “Lakatabu is set in an ancient Yoruba city to showcase how powerful some beings were made. The tale is about a powerful human who turned himself into a fearful monster. And when Lakatabu enters anywhere, everybody scampers for safety”

“I will tell you that Lakatabu is a masterpiece that no one should miss. Various popular actors featured in the film”, the thespian revealed.

Open Television Naija recalls that as an actor,  film maker, director and producer, Odunlade Adekola, who gained popularity after his lead rope in Ishola Durojaiye's 2003 movie titled Asiri Gomina Wa" has remained consistently known for his dexterity in the entertainment industry over the years. 

Odunlade has hit movies like Sunday Dagboru, Alani Pamolekun, Mufu Oloosha Oko, Adebayo Aremu Abere, Odaju, Oyenusi, Saamu Alajo, among others, to his credits.
