OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News reports that renowned media entrepreneur, event expert, and an alumna of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Bolanle Solate, popularly known as Bola Solate, has graduated with First-Class Honours in Mass Communication from Chrisland University, Abeokuta, Ogun State.
OTN News further reports that Solate, who is celebrated for her leadership in Nigeria’s event and media industry, achieved the academic milestone despite balancing multiple demanding roles as a mother, business owner, and student.
OTN News observes that her success is a powerful reminder that exemplifies determination, resilience, and the belief that neither entrepreneurship nor motherhood can hinder academic excellence.
Known for her hard work, integrity, and discipline, Solate’s journey to a First-Class degree has been described as both inspiring and motivating.
Beyond academics, she is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of M19 Image Limited, the parent company of PublicFaces Magazine, PublicFaces TV, M19 Events and Academy, 360 Booth, Choplife Oguro, Choplife Villa and Restaurants, and Choplife Car Wash, among other ventures.
A household name in the Nigerian event industry, Solate is also the convener of Ogun Events Vendor, a platform that connects and empowers event professionals across the Gateway State.
Her media career began at the young age of 23, when she founded PublicFaces Magazine, earning her recognition as the youngest female publisher by the Guild of Magazine Publishers, Abuja.
Before enrolling at Chrisland University, Solate had obtained both OND and HND in Mass Communication from Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta. Remarkably, she returned to the university a decade after her HND to pursue and complete her BSc degree.
Reflecting on her academic journey, Solate admitted that the path was challenging but rewarding.
She said, "lt looked like a waste of time and energy at first considering the stress of attending lectures, assignments, tests, projects and examinations, all these were done in the space of two years of handling high profile events , child bearing and nursing, truly I barely survived."
She commended Chrisland University for maintaining high academic standards, noting that its strict and knowledgeable lecturers contributed significantly to her success.
“Looking back and seeing all the effort yielding to First-Class Honours, it’s truly worth the while. Learning is a continuous process, and definitely, I am not stopping here,” she added.
Solate also revealed plans to further her education by pursuing a Master’s degree and, ultimately, a PhD.
OTN News, however, further observes that her remarkable achievement continues to inspire many across Nigeria’s creative and academic communities, reinforcing the message that with determination and discipline, success has no age limit.
