A major highpoint of the event was the demonstrations of how volcanic eruptions take place as the pupils, under the supervision of their teachers, poured relevant chemical substances such as baking soda into a make shift mountain made with paper and starch and a hole in its middle, leading to the occurrence of a visibly observable but mild eruption from the hole in the middle of the make shift mountain!
The excitements, bright illuminations, and glow on the faces of the students could not be quantified as various classes ranging from Nursery 2 to Basic 6 took turns to engage in supervised scientific demonstrations.
