Julie ChiNwaoha Set to Flag Off On The Highway Africa Road Safety Magazine, Campaigns in Lagos

The National Head, FRSC Celebrity Special Marshals Unit in Nigeria, and Founder ONTHEHIGHWAYAfrica, a leading road safety crusader and advocate in Africa, Julie Chi-Nwaoha is set to flag off "On The Highway Africa Road Safety Campaigns in Lagos mid week.
Julie Chi-Nwaoha who made this known in an exclusive interview with OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News revealed that as the year 2024 gravitates towards the end with many people engaging in 11th hour rushes in pursuit of economic survival amid prevailing socio-economic realities in the country, flagging off the "OnThe HighwayAfrica" campaign is continental imperative.
Chi-Nwaoha further noted that the ending part of the year is essentially a period when people travel a lot more in intra-state, inter-state as well as cross-country journeys, hence the need to intensify the advocacy on road safety awareness among all categories of road users, including commercial public drivers, private vehicle owners, truck drivers who drive the haulage business, pedestrians, first responders as well as other critical stakeholders in Africa's road safety corridor.
Giving further details on the flag off, Chi-Nwaoha revealed that the flag off of "OnThe HighwayAfrica" will take place on Wednesday 20th November, 2024 at the Lagos State Chambers of Commerce and Industry Hall, Ikeja, Lagos from 10 am.
She further revealed that highpoints of the flag off includes: public presentation of "OnTheHighway Africa" Magazine, presentation of Road Safety awards to deserving individuals and corporate brands that have contributed in a significant way to road safety crusade in Nigeria and Africa over the years as well as humanitarian efforts of selected individuals in Nigeria.
According to Chi-Nwaoha,Special Guest of honor of the day is Joseph Osanipin, Director General, National Automotive Design and Development Council (NADDC), noting that the rank and files of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) in Nigeria, will be represented at the flag off where the Sector Commander RS 2.1 Ojodu CC Kehinde Hamzat, Sector Commander, Lagos will be present while Dr. Mrs Victoria Bola Kolawole Chairman, Nigeria Red Cross Society Lagos Branch, Engr. Dr Olatunji Oluseyi Olorunyomi JP, an Ambassador of Nigeria as well as Engr. Saheed Johnson fmr. Managing Director, GM Nigeria are some of the high Networth guests expected at the event.
She further revealed that the event will feature Recognition of Road Safety Champions and high networth individuals who have distinguished themselves in service to humanity and the society as well as critical stakeholders in road safety in Nigeria and the African continent as a whole.
