A former presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress, Dumebi Kachukwu has vowed to challenge the takeover of the ADC in court by the coalition led by former Vice president Atiku Abubakar, Rotimi Amaechi, and Nasir El-Rufai and others.
OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News reports that the presidential candidate made this known on Thursday, while featuring on Arise Television’s Morning Show programme.
The former ADC presidential flagbearer who affirmed that he can not work with the coalition leaders in the same party said that he will be challenging the hijacking of the party by those he described as “old politicians" in the Court.
According to him, Nigeria needs new faces and fresh ideas.
The ex-ADC flagbearer said, “We need fresh ideas. We need fresh ideals. The people who burnt our house can not sit there. The fire brigade will put out the fire."
“I’m against them. I can not work with these people.
He then reaffirmed that, "Absolutely, yes. I will go to court against them.”
