The former First Lady of Kaduna State, Hadiza El-Rufai, has publicly corrected former Senator and activist, Shehu Sani over a recent post.
As reported by OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News, Sani, who represented Kaduna Central in the 8th Assembly, commented on X (formerly Twitter) about President Bola Tinubu’s foreign trip, linking it to rising commodity prices and taxes.
He wrote: “New law of economics, When the President travels out, taxes and prices goes up.”
Mrs. El-Rufai, known for pointing out grammatical errors on the platform, responded by correcting his phrase to “go up” instead of “goes up.”
Sani and El-Rufai’s husband, former Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, had a long-standing political feud, which reportedly contributed to Sani losing his Senate seat in 2019.
After parting ways with the APC, Sani ran for re-election but was defeated by Uba Sani, a former ally of El-Rufai and now the Governor of Kaduna.
