Chief Faremi Honoured with Another Distinguished Award at Odun Omo Olowu 2025

OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News reports as gathered from a press release by the Media and Publicity Team, Ibese Patriotic Men For Yayi (IPMFY) Ibese, Yewa North, that the new prestigious honour was presented at Oluroko of Erunmu-Owu Villa, as part of the activities marking the Odun Omo Olowu 2025 Celebration in recognition of his meritorious service to the Owu Kingdom and Nigeria at large.
OTN News further reports that the Odun Omo Olowu held under the royal auspices of His Royal Majesty, Oba Abdulwaheed Ayoade Adeotan, the Oluroko of Erunmu-Owu, Abeokuta.
In his remarks, the Olowu commended Chief Faremi for his selfless contributions and outstanding record of service that continue to inspire others across communities. The event brought together eminent personalities, traditional rulers, sons and daughters of Owu Kingdom, and well-wishers from across the nation.
Responding to the recognition, Chief Faremi, expressed profound gratitude to the Olowu and the Owu Traditional Council for the recognition, dedicating the award to the continued unity, peace, and progress of Owu Kingdom and Ogun State.
The Odun Omo Olowu Festival remains a significant annual celebration of Owu heritage, culture, and communal excellence—symbolizing the strength and resilience of the Owu people.
