Daughter of the deceased Nonagenarian Peju Oludimu, who is aserial entrepreneur and lady evangelist added, "I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you who reached out with condolences and genuine love. Although he lived a full and blessed life, his passing leaves a gaping hole in mine. He was not only my father but also my mentor and a constant source of inspiration. I'm consoled knowing that his legacy lives on through me. Thank you again for your kindness and support. Burial details will be shared soon."
OTN News recalls that back in his hay days during the golden era of radio broadcasting in Nigeria, the late Pa Benjamin Olajide Oludimu was one of the first ever consistent callers on most Radio programmes, especially on the OGBC 2 FM Radio stations.
He was known for his insightful comments, contributions and constructive criticisms on burning issues of national interests brought to the front burner of discourse on most media stations, a trend that has further deepened the impact of radio as a medium of democratization of opinions and giving room for audience feedbacks contrary to the initial traditional, one way communication that made people to refer to Radio as "Ero Asoro-magbesi" - meaning, a medium that speaks without getting feedbacks from the listeners.
Alagba John will also be missed and remembered for his contributions to the growth of evangelical movement in Nigeria as he trained virtually all his children to become evangelists, leaving behind a legacy of a pastoral/evangelical family.
