Boiling Point Releases Zoom Link for Africa-in-Focus Interview with Prof Toyin Falola Ahead of Sunday January 12
Promoters of popular interview discourse, BOILING POINT ARENA, have released the Zoom link for the Africa-in-Focus edition featuring prominent Nigerian historian Prof Toyin Falola, scheduled for Sunday 12th January, 2024 via Zoom at 8pm.

Ahead of the much-publicized interview discourse popularly known as Boiling Point Arena featuring eminent historian and internationally rated academic, Prof. Toyin Falola, promoters of BOILING POINT ARENA have released the Zoom link for the Africa-in-Focus edition scheduled forSunday 12th January, 2024 via Zoom at 8pm.
OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News gathered that a consortium of radio stations including WASH 94.9FM, Lagos, Sweet 107.1FM, Abeokuta and Roots 97.1FM, Abeokuta and other media platforms are expected to broadcast the programme live to audiences via their terrestrial channels.
OTN News reports that the zoom scheduled event, being the first edition of the popular monthly interview show in the new year has its central theme as: “The Socio-Economic and Political Survival of Mother Africa–The Delimma and Viable Options”.
OTN further reports that the edition beams the searchlight on Africa's development agenda and future as issues bothering on Africa and how the Continent can emerge a future economic and cultural superpower will be robustly dissected by Prof Fálọlá during the discourse.
The once-in-a-month current affairs programme is initiated by the Convener, Dr Ayo Arowojolu, a media professional and public relations strategist with three and a half decade work career spanning the media, banking and education sectors.
OTN recalls that Boiling Point Arena, which started in November 2022 reached a significant peak of societal relevance in December 2024 when it hosted former Nigerian President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo whose lively interview session that generated ripples effect, continues to reverberate in the media landscape of the country.
For the records, the Guest Speaker this time around, Prof. Fálọlá, is widely reputed as Africa’s most distinguished historian who is best known globally as one of the most celebrated African humanity scholars.
The academic icon is a recipient of 25 honorary doctorates from several globally acclaimed institutions including the University of Calgary, Canada.
He has authored more than 100 books and articles and lectured in more than 65 countries of the world.
Foremost traditional ruler, the Olowu of Owu Kingdom, Oba Prof Saka Matemilola is the Keynote Speaker to chair the session.
