Boiling Point: Kperogi, Oyedokun to Dissect Why Hardship Persists in Nigeria Despite Claims of Falling Food Prices Nov 9

Two notable eggheads, Prof. Farooq Kperogi and Prof. Godwin Oyedokun are to unravel Nigeria’s current economic paradox of rising hardship in the land in the face of reported decline in food prices, even as Nigerians continue to battle harsh socio-economic realities.
A statement by the convener, Boiling Point, Dr. Ayo Arowojolu reveals that the food security discourse will be the explosive issue on the front burner on the November edition of the popular monthly interview discourse, Boiling Point Arena billed to hold on Sunday November 9, 2025.
The global online discourse which holds at 8pm via Zoom is to be broadcast live on six radio stations across Lagos, Ogun and Delta States.

Kperogi, a prominent columnist, journalist and writer, is a Professor of Communication and Emerging Media at Kennesaw State University and an award-winning Columnist, whose Column in national newspapers have incredibly wide popular acclamation.
For his part, Prof Oyedokun is a distinguished expert in forensic accounting, financial development, taxation and public policy at Lead University, Ibadan.
Prof Oyedokun has intimidating credentials parading three Bachelor’s Degrees including being a Law graduate, three different Master’s Degrees and three PhDs in separate fields.
