"All Powers Belong to God" As Yahaya Bello Will Be Spending Christmas in Kuje Prison, Says Dino as He Mocks Ex-governor

OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News reports that a former federal lawmaker, Senator Dino Melaye, has expressed excitement over the decision of a Federal Capital Territory High Court to remand the former governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello in Kuje Correctional Centre throughout Christmas, noting that the development is quite instructive and didactic. 

The former Kogi Senator who expressed his excitement over Bello's case on his official X handle, formally Twitter, recounted that he had earlier predicted Bello’s imprisonment about six years ago.

OTN News recalls that the FCT High Court, had on Tuesday, remanded Bello in Kuje Correctional Centre, pending his bail application.

Furthermore, the presiding judge, Justice Maryann Anenih also adjourned hearing in the N110bn money laundering case brought against the former governor by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, to January 29 and 30 and February 25 and 27 for hearing.

However, reacting to the FCT High Court Judgement, Dino took to his official X handle, said “6 years ago, SDM predicted Yahaya Bello would end up in prison.

“Today, he will be spending Christmas in Kuje prison. All powers belong to God”, the former lawmaker stated in his post.

Senator Dino Melaye is known for his dramatic commentaries on political affairs, often deploying throwing of jibes, self-composed musical renditions and other dramatic stunts to drive home his point of view about issues and target individuals.
