Aisha Yesufu Calls for Impeachment of Tinubu Over Benue Mass Killings

Yesufu,an activist who came to the national limelight during the Bring Back Our Girls, BBOG, movement, has called for the impeachment of President Tinubu, who she noted has failed to profer a solution to the incessant killings in Benue State.
The popular activist, OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News gathered stated that the Nigerian Senate should be considering the impeachment of President Bola Tinubu at this critical time.
Aisha Yesufu's call for the impeachment of President Tinubu came in respobse to the latest bloody attacks on Benue communities, which occurred in Yelewata on Friday night as suspected armed herdsmen launched a deadly attack around 10: 00 pm, leaving several people dead and many others injured.
The State Police Command later confirmed the attack, saying that suspected bandits invaded the community in the early hours of Saturday.
The police added that tactical teams deployed to the area responded swiftly and engaged the attackers in a fierce gun battle.
However, Aisha Yesufu has based her angered against the Nigerian President on what she described as a misplaced swift reaction to the recent plane crash that left over 200 people dead in India, without visiting or showing empathy for the innocent people of Benue.
The Activist, writing on her x handle said, “Tinubu is sitting down there gloating over the deaths of Nigerians whose mandate he truncated to occupy the office of the C-in-C and instead of Tinubu’s impeachment to be the topic of discussion, who is supposed to OWN a political party is the main topic!”
“Tinubu condoled with India and not with Benue.”
She then concluded her post by saying, "Benue is under the leadership of the All Progressives Congress, APC."
