An Ogun-state based veteran broadcaster of the OGBC Model station fame, Dr.Bunmi Ayelaagbe, who has earned global reputation for his multi-textured voice and dexterity in chanting Yoruba rhymes and ewi, has raised an alarm over the nefarious activity of some unknown internet fraudsters bent on hacking his Whatsapp line to fleece his fans of their hard-earned money.

The veteran broadcaster confirmed this disclosure during a brief phone conversation with the Chief Executive Officer of OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News, Olufemi Orunsola, on Tuesday morning.

The "ONIGBA-OHUN-LONA-OFUN", as he is fondly called by his fans who cherish and relish his unique multi-textured voicing of Yoruba chants, cognomen and ewi, expressed his concerns about the cyber attack on him, alerting members of the public to beware of such criminal moves by fraudsters to use his hard-earned reputation and goodwill, his name and pictures to collect money from them under false pretence.

In his words, as translated, "My attention has been drawn by some of my fans across the world to a particular fraudster attempting to hack or clone my Whatsapp line to defraud unsuspecting members of the public o."

"Please, kindly help me alert my fans and well wishers across the world to beware of sending any money or doing any transaction with these fraudsters o", Dr Ayelaagbe further said.

The septegarian broadcaster who is known for playing significant role as one of the core Masters of Ceremonies during the annual Lisabi festival in Egba land, took advantage of the occasion to felicitate all Egba sons and daughters ahead of the forthcoming 2025 Lisabi Festival scheduled to take place later in the month, assuring them, especially those coming from the Diaspora of a fabulous and memorable Lisabi Day celebration by God's grace.

"Dede eyin omo Egba, omo Lisabi lagbaye, e ku oriire oooo. E de ku ipalemo odun Lisabi odun yi, eyi o n bo dede dede lopin osu keta eyi a wa n nu re yi. A ba wa layo oooo", the Onigba-ohun-lona-ofun" chanted in his typical Egba language style, as he concluded the phone conversation with the OTN News CEO.
