2025 Batch B Stream II Will Kick Off on Monday, September 8, 2025 - NYSC Announces

OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News reports that as part of Nigeria’s post-civil war reconciliation efforts, the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) on Thursday, announced the official date for the commencement of registration for the 2025 Batch ‘B’ Stream II orientation exercise.

OTN News further reports that the management of the scheme who announced this in a post shared via its official X handle, formerly Twitter, disclosed that registration will kick off on Monday, September 8, 2025.

OTN News observes that the statement did not specify when the registration window will close, leaving prospective corps members to await further directives.

OTN News further observes that the NYSC was established in 1973 by the administration of General Yakubu Gowon as part of Nigeria’s post-civil war reconciliation efforts.

The one-year compulsory national service program deploys graduates of tertiary institutions under the age of 30 to states outside their regions of origin, with the aim of fostering unity, integration, and national development.
