Sign-Out Celebration Turns Tragic as LAUTECH Student Shot Dead in Ogbomosho

OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News reports as gathered that tragedy strikes at Ogbomosho in Oyo State, in the middle of this week, when a student of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), identified as Babalola Marvelous Ishola, was shot dead during a sign-out celebration.
OTN News further reports as gathered that, the deceased, who was shot by some yet to identified culprits, was found lifeless by the roadside.
OTN News also learnt that a team of security operatives were immediately dispatched to the scene, where the victim was identified through a search of his identity.
Subsequently, the Dean of Student Affairs at LAUTECH confirmed that Babalola was a student of the institution.
His body, was however, deposited at the morgue of the LAUTECH University Teaching Hospital for preservation, OTN News reports as gathered.
