Bayelsa-born young Nigerian Guiness World Record holder, Tonye Solomon, has yet again successfully attempted to set a new Guiness World Record for the LONGEST SWIMMING, BALANCING A FOOTBALL ON THE HEAD challenge.
OPEN TELEVISION Naija gathered that Tonye recently embarked on a very tedious task to complete his attempt at thirty seven (37) minutes, beating the existing record held by a Russian at twenty three minutes (New 23).
Tonye held a ball balanced on his head while swimming across the Ikoli river in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
Following the feat, many congratulatory messages and encomiuns have poured out to Tonye Solomon, who is popularly known and addressed as The Ball Boy for showing great resilience and strength typical of the Ijaw youth, and putting our dear Ijaw Nation on the global map for good.
