WAEC Announces Dates For 2024 Computer-Based WASSCE For Private Candidates

The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has announced that the Computer-Based West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) for Private Candidates, 2024 Second Series, will run from Friday, October 25 to Friday, December 20, 2024.
OPEN TELEVISION NAIJA (OTN) News gathered in a statement issued Tuesday, WAEC disclosed that the exam will follow a "hybrid delivery model," where candidates will answer multiple-choice questions on-screen, while essay and practical responses will be written in physical answer booklets.
Additionally, candidates can opt to take the entire exam using the traditional paper-and-pen method.
The registration deadline for the exam has been extended to Tuesday, October 29, 2024, allowing more candidates to enroll.
WAEC also confirmed the availability of the “Walk-in-Candidate” option, permitting candidates to register up to 24 hours before their chosen exam.
OTN News recalls that the final timetable is now available for download on the WAEC Nigeria website.
Candidates are encouraged to use WAEC’s learning resources, such as the "e-Study platform, Past Questions and Answers books and WAECKonnect," an interactive platform for candidates.
