UK, Ireland Sets to Host Yewa Day on September 14, 2024

Sons and daughters of Yewa scion at home and abroad, especially those in the United Kingdom and the Ireland are in high spirits as preparations for the 2024 edition of the highly anticipated Yewa Day are now in top gear ahead of the September 14 2024 date of the event.

The event is scheduled to hold under the auspices of HRM, Oba (Dr.) Kehinde Gbadewole Olugbenle MFR, the Olu of Ilaro and Paramount Ruler of Yewaland.

A statement credited to the President of the Yewa Descendants Union UK & Ireland (YDU UK & Ireland),Mr.Kayode Amosu, the event promises a captivating lineup of cultural, traditional, commercial, and entertainment activities.

Mr.Amosu assured members and their guests of an unforgettable experience throughout the festivities.

He urged all Yewa indigenes, both at home and abroad, to offer unwavering support towards the success of the programme.

Mr. Amosu further stated that besides showcasing the rich culture and traditions of the Yewa people abroad, the event aims to unite Yewans from around the world to discuss and forge new paths for the socio-economic advancement of Yewaland.
